NEW!! PSYCD Graduation Ceremony Will Now Be in MOTT GYM!!

The Department graduation ceremony on June 14th will be held immediately after the large ceremony. We are estimating this will be around 11:15am. All family and friends are welcome!

New! Section of CD 305: Early & Middle Childhood Development

We have added a new section of CD305 to PASS for Fall 15.  It is scheduled for MW 10:10-12.

ALSO we are working on adding another section of CD350: Developmental Issues in Education. Look for it on PASS in the next couple of weeks.

PSY333: Quantitative Research Methods Added to Summer Courses! 

If you have met the prereqs, consider taking PSY333 this summer! 

Mini Presentations on Gender, Couples, Diversity and Sexuality

Come support our PSY graduate students!! The first year graduate students in our Master's program will be giving brief talks on Tuesday, June 9 from 10:10-1:00 in 22-211.   Students, staff and faculty are welcome to listen to a short presentation (or more) and offer their written feedback.

Topics will include:
10:15-10:39 -Pornography and Relationships
10:43-11:07 -Gender Differences in Learning and Behavior Across Adolescence
11:11-11:35 -Treating Transgender Individuals and Their Partners in Therapy
11:40-12:04 -The Impact of Religious Affiliation/Family Ties on LGBTQ Intimate Relationships
12:08-12:32 -Interracial Couples: Myths, Difficulties and Development
12:36-1:00 -Codependence and Addiction in Relationships
 
If you are interested in attending any of these presentations please RSVP Dr. Robin Lewis, rlewis@calpoly.edu.  Space is limited so let Dr. Lewis know which mini presentation(s) you would like to attend.  Our only request is that attendees do not come into the classroom after a presentation has begun.
 
Undergraduates, it's a great way to see what graduate school is like!!

What's Next with Fall 15 Internships?

Orange Internship Card should have been signed and returned to the Department Office.  If you are doing a second internship in Fall at the SAME site, please give your Orange card to your current faculty supervisor.
