Clinical-Forensic Research Experience Available!!

The Clinical and Forensic Psychology Research Center, within the Department of Psychology and Child Development, is looking for motivated and detail-oriented students to serve as voluntary Research Assistants for projects involving domestic violence, violence, mentoring, juvenile delinquency, and diversity related clinical issues.

The Research Assistant positions can be taken for internship credit and requires a minimum of three quarter commitments with an average of 12 hours per week, for three quarters.

Responsibilities include data collection, gaining knowledge in administering and scoring psychological assessments, performing data entry utilizing SPSS, research writing, and creating and presenting professional presentations. 

Other qualifications:
--Must have a minimum of a 3.2 cumulative GPA.
--Successful completion of Research Methods
--Must have a flexible schedule (no late evenings or weekends are available)
--Must be meticulous given the type of position and the nature of the work.
--Should be proficient in MS Word, Excel, Typing, Microsoft Power point, etc.
--Has very good management skills.
--Is very well organized.
--Is a team player and works well in groups.
