Our Commitment to Community
We offer outstanding programs and services that support our campus and local communities. At the heart of these efforts are our students who play key roles in ensuring the success of our outreach.
Students in our Master's in Psychology program provide short-term counseling and consultation services, under the supervision of licensed psychologists, for San Luis Obispo County residents who do not qualify for County Mental Health Services or who cannot afford private psychotherapy.
Child Development students have the opportunity to work within our high-quality preschool that supports the developmental needs of the whole child in a warm, nurturing, play-based environment. Central to the program are innovative inquiry-based learning experiences that support children’s natural interest and engagement in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
